The best Super Bowl ads so far

Even if you're not that into the start-and-stop action of gridiron football, the spectacles of the Super Bowl half-time shows (Janet Jackson's nipple slip comes to mind) means there's something for everyone.

Which means it's the perfect platform for dozens of brands to get their products in front you. But there's a very high standard for Super Bowl ads — they've become part of the lure of the biggest game on the US calendar.

The ads are usually funny, thoughtful or feature loads of celebrities. They cost millions of dollars to make and air and they're usually for one night only.
