ALEC Baldwin demonstrates his strength at the grand age of 55 – but ends up overshadowing his feat by exposing his wife’s derriere.

The Hollywood actor decided to put on a show for snappers during a photocall for his new documentary Seduced And Abandoned at the Cannes Film Festival.

His pregnant missus Hilaria Thomas, 28, merrily played along, letting her head and feet drop as she was lifted into the air by Alec’s arms.

However, yoga instructor Hilaria’s bum crack made a surprise appearance when the star hoisted her up.

The couple each pulled funny faces, blissfully unaware of the booty gaff.

Alec – formerly wed to Kim Basinger – married his second wife last year following a two-month engagement.

Earlier this month, the notoriously short-tempered actor was caught on camera appearing to rant at Hilaria on a New York street.

It came after Alec infamously called his daughter Ireland a “rude, thoughtless pig” in an angry voicemail in 2007.

The leaked message – which he left on Ireland’s phone when she was 11 – swept the inteet, forcing Alec to publicly apologise.

He wrote on his website: “I'm sorry, as everyone who knows me is aware, for losing my temper with my child.

“I have been driven to the edge by parental alienation for many years now. You have to go through this to understand. (Although I hope you never do). I am sorry for what happened.”

Alec is in the French Riviera promoting Seduced And Abandoned – a cinematic exploration of the Cannes Film Festival, cinema art, money, glamour, death, and the way all five subjects are interconnected.

The actor appears as himself in the film.
