Teen Dvonte Farmer Arrested for Stolen SUV after Chase
ATLANTA - A high-speed police pursuit on Sunday moing came to a crashing end in a northwest Atlanta neighborhood. It all started when police attempted to pull over a vehicle they believe was stolen.

A spokesperson for the Atlanta Police Department told FOX 5 that the driver, 17-year-old Dvonte Farmer, speed away when police tried to pull him over in a stolen Jeep. The teen driver ended up crashing into three other vehicles on Donald Lee Howell near Hamilton E. Holmes Drive.
Farmer and another driver were taken to the hospital for their injuries. The others involved were treated at the scene for only minor injuries.
Investigators said Farmer had been released from jail less than a week ago on felony theft charges. Jail records show he has been arrested twice on that charge since June. Farmer is expected to be booked back into the Fulton County Jail once he is released from the hospital.
