Ted Bundy's mother Louise dies aged 88 after a lifetime spent defending her serial killer son
Louise Bundy (pictured inset) died last month in her hometown of Tacoma, Washington. In the 1970s, Mrs Bundy was a married mother-of-five working as a secretary when authorities began to accuse her eldest son Ted Bundy in a series of gruesome killings.
For years, she refused to believe the charges. Louise Bundy spoke with him twice on his execution day, telling him at the end of the second call: 'You'll always be my precious son.'
