SWAT Team Storms Home Of Sexual Assault Suspect James Robert King
James Robert King was not in his Sandy Springs apartment when police showed up to take him into custody.

SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. - A SWAT team stormed an apartment in Sandy Springs on Friday afteoon looking for man charged with serious sex crimes. Police say the suspect worked as a maintenance worker at the Charleston Court Apartments on Glenridge Drive.

James Robert King was not in his apartment when police showed up to take him into custody. When a heavily-armed SWAT team arrived at the Charleston Court apartment complex, they actually staged a practice raid inside the complex on a similar apartment before going to where the suspect lived.

Police say King is a maintenance worker at the apartment complex. He is charged with incest and sodomy. The SWAT team smashed in the door and sent a special trained dog in to look for the suspect, and the dog alerted police that no once was home.

Police were conceed that King had keys to other apartments and might have been hiding somewhere other than his own apartment. They say they searched other areas of the complex and did not find him.
