Forsyth County student, soccer player Eliza Farrell killed in July 4 crash

- Georgia State Patrol say an accident involving two vehicles near the Georgia Premium Outlets in Dawsonville on July 4 left one teenager dead, according to Georgia State Patrol.

According to the Forsyth County News, 15 year-old Eliza Farrell was killed in the crash that happened around 9:30 p.m. after police say a vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign and hit the vehicle in which Farrell was a passenger.

She was a student at Lambert High School in Forsyth County and member of the school's junior varsity girl's soccer team.

According to the accident report, Farrell was one of three passengers in a 2006 Acura TSX traveling west on Industrial Park Road when they were broadsided by a 2011 Dodge pickup truck traveling south on Lumpkin Campground Road.

The three other people in the vehicle have been identified as Xavier Sanchez, Rachel Rajczak and Kevin Arias. They were all hospitalized with non life-threatening injuries.

According to police, 21-year-old Brayden Lewis Clark was driving the Dodge Ram, and was taken to the Northeast GA Medical Center.

Charges against Clark will be announced once the investigation is complete.

Lambert High School principal Gary Davison released this statement regarding Farrell's death:

"Eliza was a wonderful young lady whom exemplified the best that Lambert strives…she was kind, well liked, hard working. We will greatly miss her. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends."
