Suspect Alcie Green identifed in Gwinnett $9K identify theft case
Alcie Almecoh Green, 43, of Atlanta has been identified as the suspect in these surveillance photos.

- Gwinnett County police have issued warrants for an Atlanta woman suspected in multiple identity theft crimes in the Buford area.

Thanks to a tipster from Crime Stoppers, Alcie Almecoh Green, 43, of Atlanta was named as the suspect. Green is accused of opening multiple lines of credit at several stores in and around the Mall of Georgia, including Belk, Von Maur, TJ Maxx and Target, and buying more than $9,000 worth of merchandise, according to a news release from Gwinnett County Police.

Police are seeking Green on two counts of theft by deception and two counts of identity fraud

The victim is former ”Married to Medicine star Kari Wells, according to a police report. Wells told Channel 2 Action News the $9,000 shopping spree made her feel ”violated and she was made aware of the fraudulent charges when a collections company began calling her due to non-payment.

Green's whereabouts are currently unknown, but she could still be in the Atlanta area. Anyone with information in the case is asked to contact Gwinnett Police at (770) 513-5300.
