Substitute teacher in hot water for leaving kids out in the cold
In the latest rogue substitute teacher incident (remember the duct tape?), school officials in Rhode Island have disciplined a stand-in teacher after he sent two disruptive third-graders out into the cold without their coats.
The teacher at The Stadium School in Cranston is accused of demonstrating a "lack of classroom management" when he sent the young rascals outside on Monday.
The teacher's name is being withheld and the type of disciplinary action taken has not been revealed, but you can be forgiven for thinking that authorities might have sung in a Pink Floyd style, "Hey, teacher, don’t leave those kids in the cold."
