A Snellville man died in a wreck late Friday night, authorities confirmed.

Atlanta police said it happened just before 11:30 p.m. on Interstate 285 southbound.

They said two vehicles were involved.

Atlanta police told reporters that the wreck started when traffic slowed down and a yellow Ford Mustang did not slow down, causing it to crash into the back of a tractor trailer.

They said they believed the driver of the Mustang died in the wreck.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner identified the victim as as Kevin Miller, 39, of Snellville.

Three of four right and middle lanes were blocked from 11:15 until about 1 a.m.
