Seinfeld actor Daniel von Bargen dead at 64
THE actor who played George Costanza’s boss, Mr Kruger, has died.
64-year-old Daniel von Bargen. who appeared in four episodes of Seinfeld, passed away after a lengthy illness.
The actor was also well known for playing Commandant Edwin Spangler on sitcom Malcolm In The Middle between 2000 — 2002.

Von Bargen appeared in several films during his career, including The Silence Of The Lambs, O Brother, Where are Thou? and Basic Instinct.
The actor had a tough time in the last few years. In 2012 he called 911 after he shot himself in the temple in a failed suicide attempt.
At the time he was reportedly distressed that he was set to have some toes amputated due to his battle with diabetes.
