Security Guard London Tucker Killed Outside Towing Co.

ATLANTA - A towing company security guard was shot to death while on duty early Saturday, Atlanta police said.

Police said the victim was unarmed in his guard shack when he was attacked. At about 3:30 a.m., a sport utility vehicle pulled up and someone stepped out with an assault rifle, Atlanta police spokesman Keith Meadows said.

The guard was shot at least nine times, several times in the torso, once in the arm and once in the leg, Meadows said. He was taken to Grady Hospital, where he died.

Officers said the guard was clearly targeted in the attack. Meadows said police have not identified a motive, and homicide investigators were looking for clues to find the gunman
