President Barack Obama has attended a basketball game for his younger daughter.

The White House says 11-year-old Sasha Obama's team had a game Saturday moing at a community center in Chevy Chase, Md., just outside Washington.

An avid basketball player himself, Obama served as an assistant coach for the team - the Vipers - for at least one season. He retued to the White House after the game.

The White House provided no other information about the game or the president's activity there.
