Salma Hayek’s brother kills passenger after crashing sports car on Sunset Boulevard
THE brother of actor Salma Hayek has been involved in a fatal car crash on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles.
Sami Hayek, 40, reportedly lost control of his 2006 Ford GT sports car, crossing the highway into oncoming traffic and smashing in to a Toyota pick-up.
The Mail Online reported that Hayak’s passenger, an unidentified male, died at the scene.
The Mail said the passenger was a 43-year-old resident of Mexico.
Hayek is the younger brother of Salma Hayek. He currently runs his own design studio in LA designing fuiture for celeb clients that include Brad Pitt.
He is married to jewellery-designer Daniela Villegas and the pair live in the Hollywood Hills.
