Russell Crowe has revealed Michael Jackson used to plague him with prank calls.

The Man Of Steel actor says MJ would call him on his home phone and feign emergencies to panic him.

Russ, 49, said: ‘Michael Jackson used to tease me on the phone.

‘He’d ring me and in a strong voice say, “There is an emergency and you need to leave the building”.

‘I’d ask, “Who is this?” And he’d say, “Do not worry Russell, just kidding, this is Michael”.’

But it’s Russel’s son Charles who is keeping him on his toes nowadays.

The nine-year-old is convinced he’s Superman’s brother after realising his dad plays the superhero’s dad, Jor-El. 

Russ revealed: ‘I told my two kids, “I will be Superman’s dad, so who are you?”

‘And the oldest thought for a moment and said, “I am Superman’s brother”.’
