The city of Newnan is offering a $20,000 reward for information in the shooting death of Coweta County teenager Blake Chappell.

COWETA COUNTY, Ga. - The city of Newnan is offering a $20,000 reward for information in the shooting death of a Coweta County teenager.

Blake Tyler Chappell, 17, of Senoia vanished in October after going to a homecoming dance. Police say Chappell was last seen walking from one friend's house to another on Oct. 16.

Someone called 911 after seeing the body in a creek on Dec. 19.
An autopsy showed he died of a gunshot wound.

Newnan Police Deputy Rodney Riggs said they don’t have any motives or suspects in the murder.
