35 puppies rescued from an alleged puppy mill in Mississippi are in
Atlanta tonight.

Members of the Atlanta Humane Society say they were called to rescue the animals, went to Mississippi, and drove them here tonight. Rescuers say the animals are malnourished and were discovered living in their own feces. They hope to find them new homes and soon.

The rescued dogs will be spayed or neutered and any health problems addressed before they can be adopted
