Random French guy says Bush twins loved Obama in 2008

George W. Bush campaigned for John McCain in 2008, but it seems he may have known Barack Obama would win the presidential election for one reason: His twin daughters, Barbara and Jenna, swooned for the then-senator from Illinois.

That's the surprising revelation French diplomat Jean-David Levitte made in today's \"Le Monde\" newspaper, as highlighted by Buzzfeed. \"Bush believed that Obama would win because his twins swore by him,\" Levitte said in an excerpt from a new book on French President Nicolas Sarkozy.

No word on who the Bush girls are supporting this time, but we wonder if they might be past the hopey-changey thing.

Were the Bush girls disloyal to their dad?
