Racist graffiti spraypainted at Douglas County home

Authorities in Douglas County are investigating after vandals spraypainted racial slurs, graffiti and Nazi symbols in a family's yard.

The vandalism occurred at a home in the Heritage Manor subdivision.

Deputies say they have no suspects and no motive for the vandalism, which occurred Sunday night.

Lavesta and Shannon Stevens have lived in the subdivision about 11 years. Stevens says he is conceed for the safety of his three daughters and has asked for extra police patrols in the neighborhood.
