Prom night ruined when attendees’ cars get booted

Many of the prom-goers from Miller Grove High School in Lithonia, Georgia experienced a difficult night when they retued to their cars to find they had been booted in the nearby parking lot. As reported by WAGA Fox 5, the attendees arrived at the Georgia Railroad depot in Atlanta for the prom and parked in the adjacent lot assuming that there was no charge because there was no attendant on duty. However, shortly after they entered the dance their vehicles were booted.

Even parent, Dionne Richmond, received a boot while dropping her daughter off and saying goodbyes just feet from her car. So instead of enjoying the prom, the students were left trying to deal with the parking issue and the $75 charge to remove the boot.

The employee of Premier Parking Enforcement, who was booting the cars would not comment and directed questions to the company. Fox 5 was told by the Premier Parking Enforcement dispatcher in South Carolina that they did not have a number to the company, and were instead given a post office box address at a UPS store.
