ATLANTA - An Atlanta based charity organization is in need of volunteers with a special type of vehicle that can handle the icy roads.

Project Open Hand -- which delivers meals to people unable to leave their home -- is in need of volunteers with 4-wheel drive vehicles so meals can be delivered to those in need.

Volunteers are asked to report to their building at 176 Ottley Drive NE in Atlanta Thursday or when they can get there.

The project provides up to three meals a day and snacks to low income residents dealing with a variety of health issues and homebound seniors.
