Albany -  A Moultrie man has been sentenced to six months behind bars after pleading guilty to embezzling $50,000 from the U.S. Postal Service office where he worked.

Sue McKinney, spokeswoman for U.S. Attoey Michael J. Moore, says 60-year-old Terrell Croft will also serve six months of home confinement after his release. He also must pay $50,000 in restitution.

Croft pleaded guilty in November 2010. Prosecutors said he stole from a post office in Moultrie from November 2004 to April 2007.
