Police: Teens held student against her will in class
Two high school students are accused of holding another student against her will and forcing her to perform an indecent act in an empty classroom at a local high school.
Clayton County Sheriff's Office investigators said the incident happened at Charles Drew High School right before noon on Wednesday.
Seventeen-year-old Farley Mertune faces a felony charge of false imprisonment and misdemeanor charges of enticing child for indecent purposes and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.
Mertune’s 16-year-old accomplice faces aggravated sodomy and false imprisonment charges. Authorities are not releasing his name because of his age.
Investigators said the attack began about 11:30 a.m., while school was in session.

"What's alleged to have happened is a 16-year-old victim was forced inside a lecture hall at the school," Vivian said
Harris said Mertune acted as a lookout while the 16-year-old boy forced the victim to perform an indecent act on him. Harris said the two students wouldn’t let the girl leave the room.
"She was held against her will. Surveillance cameras show that she was taken into this room against her will," Harris said.
Authorities said when they patted down Mertune they found marijuana in his socks.
"One package was on the left side and the other package was on the right side. Right sock," Harris said.
Mertune barely spoke above a whisper when he went before a judge to hear the charges. He also heard he will be held without bond for now.
A school official said the room the students were in should have been locked. Dr. Doug Hendrix said the school is working to make sure it's not left unlocked again. Hendrix also said incidents like this are not a common occurrence at the school. The two students have been suspended.
