Authorities are searching for a man who raped a woman, then stole her television at her Jonesboro home.

According to Clayton County Sheriff's Office, a man broke into a woman's home on the 500 block of Sycamore Drive and sexually assaulted the victim early Sunday moing.

The suspect was described to be in his early to mid 20's, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches, 150-160 pounds and thin mustache.

He also stole a 42-inch television (unknown make or serial number) and a Galaxy Metro PCS phone, according to deputies said.

The suspect was in the home for five to 10 minutes and engaged the victim in detailed conversation. The suspect claimed to have a handgun, but never displayed it.

The victim believes that the suspect fled in an unknown vehicle with an aftermarket keyless entry.

Suspect may be armed and dangerous.
