Police: One Dead in Clayton County Shooting
CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. - Police say one person was killed on Tuesday in a shooting at a home in Clayton County. It happened on Battlecreek Lane off of Mount Zion Boulevard near Morrow around 12:30 p.m.
Officers confirmed one person was killed, but they have not said whether it was a homicide. No details were immediately given on what led to the shooting.
Neighbors tell FOX 5 the victim was a manager at a fitness center nearby. His bosses have declined to comment.
Braylon Brown, who lives near the home where the shooting took place, says he went to check on the victim and discovered his body inside the house. Brown said the man was still in his work uniform, and he was lying face down with blood on his head.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
