Police Locate Car of Missing Woman Stacey English

Atlanta police have located the car of a woman who has been missing for more than a week.

Stacey English's car was found abandoned and still running near the Lakewood Amphitheatre on Dec. 27.

Police are combing the car for evidence.

English’s parents, Kevin and Cindy Jamison, say the last time they heard from their 36-year-old daughter was on Christmas day. 

Jamison says her daughter spent the holiday at her Buckhead condo with a man visiting her from Missouri.

Police say that man, identified as ”Kirk, is now a person of interest.

”He’s extremely important to the investigation because, as far as we know, he was the last person that actually had contact with her, so it’s important for us to develop that information so we can get a concrete timeline, said Major Keith Andrews of the Atlanta Police Department.

According to police, Kirk last talked to a security guard in Buckhead condo about finding a taxi.

Meadows said police have reached out to the FBI to assist them in the investigation. Officials said they would be sending detectives to Missouri to interview Kirk and investigate leads.

English’s parents urged anyone with information in the case to contact police. A $5,0000 reward is being offered in the case.
