Police are investigating a homicide at a Goodwill store early Tuesday moing.

The Rockdale Sheriff’s Office received a call at 8:20 a.m. about the incident at 4499 Oglesby Bridge Road SE.

Authorities said they found Pamela Harmon, 57, in the parking lot, dead from a gunshot wound.

According to local business owners, Harmon is a Goodwill employee who worked at the location for 11 years.

Investigators told us the suspect, Brandon Lamar Johnson, was a former co-worker who was likely traveling in a dark-colored Chevy Impala and heading towards West Virginia.

Sources confirmed with the media around 4:30 p.m. that Johnson was killed by West Virginia State Police.
