Police identify victim in northwest Atlanta shooting as 27-year-old Donte Seymore
Police are investigating a fatal shooting just off Bolton Road in northwest Atlanta near Fulton County Airport.
Police got a call about a man down in the middle of the street around 10 p.m. The victim, 27-year-old Donte Seymore, was transported to a hospital and pronounced dead.
Investigators recovered a handgun at the scene. Detectives haven't determined if it's the weapon that killed Seymore, or if it belonged to him.
According to detectives, witnesses were not able to help identify the victim in this shooting.
Witnesses say they saw a silver four-door sedan driving away after the shooting.
