A woman is accused of stealing lobsters from a Gwinnett County grocery store, and now police want to find her son.

According to a police report, officers say Luciana Vonberman loaded several items into her purse at The Great Wall Supermarket on Pleasant Hill Road in Duluth. It happened on October 23.

When an officer looked in her bag, he says he found two containers of oysters and a bag of ginger on top of other items.

While issuing Vonberman a citation for misdemeanor shoplifting, police say she begged to go to the restroom. A security guard later found six live lobsters in the restroom trash can

After reviewing surveillance video, Gwinnett police determined Vonberman’s son, Jason, was involved in the theft, as well as two others earlier in the month. A warrant was issued for his arrest on Feb. 18.
