GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. -- A Gwinnett County man accused of torturing a cat has bonded out of jail.

Daniel Moore, of Sugar Hill, was arrested on animal cruelty charges, according to a spokesman for the Gwinnett County Police Department.

Investigators said Moore put a stray cat in a garbage can and poured bleach and another cleaning chemical on it.

Officer's said Moore's roommate found the cat, and took it to a vet.

The roommate told them Moore previously killed a cat.
