ATLANTA - Authorities said a body was found in the parking lot of a MARTA station in west Atlanta on Tuesday afteoon.

The body was discovered inside the trunk of a car parked in the north parking lot of the Holmes MARTA station, according to a spokesperson with MARTA police.

Officials say they were alerted to the car in the parking lot around 10:30 a.m.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner later identified the body as that of 33-year-old Christopher Dean of Lithia Springs.
