Gwinnett County Police have arrested a man in connection with the shooting death of a taxi cab driver in Tucker on Sunday.

Police say Aidarous Abdella dropped a woman off at a condo complex to meet up with her ex-boyfriend, 34-year-old Henok Basore.

An argument ensued between Basore and the woman.

The taxi driver attempted to intervene when he was shot in the head by Basore, according to police.

The suspect fled the scene, but was taken into custody a short time later.

Basore has been charged with Felony Murder and Aggravated Assault.
