Pizza restaurant bakes heartwarming treat for deployed soldier's wife
Mellow Mushroom delivers gift to deployed soldier's wife

Army National Guard Maj. Shawn Fulker is stationed in Afghanistan, but he wasn't going to let 7,500 miles stand in the way of buying his wife dinner on her birthday. He emailed Mellow Mushroom pizza — her favorite — to ask if they'd deliver a pizza and a $50 gift card to his house.

The Jacksonville, Fla., store did something even better. They baked a heart-shaped pie and delivered it, the gift card, flowers and balloons to Josephine Fulker's front door … and didn't charge Fulker a thing. "Hopefully we were able to help her have a great birthday while he's …serving our country," store owner John Valentino said. Fulker got teary-eyed when he saw the sweet pic of his wife and son with their gift. We did too. [Source]
