Pedestrian Tyler Keith Piper struck and killed along GA 400
Man leaving Florida Georgia Line concert hit and killed while walking on GA 400

The northbound lanes of Georgia 400 were closed for several hours after a pedestrian was struck and killed while walking along the highway late Saturday night.

The Alpharetta Department of Public Safety responded to the crash scene on highway near Haynes Bridge Road shortly before midnight. They believe the victim was hit by two vehicles. One of the drivers stopped while the other did not.

The victim was later identified as 23 year-old Tyler Keith Piper of Covington. Police say he had just left the Florida-Georgia Line concert at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater at Encore Park.

Gina Wilson also attended the concert and was driving home when she saw Piper's body lying on the side of the roadway.

"It was a horrendous scene, he was laying there obviously not in a normal position. And the abdomen looked like it wasn't there," said Wilson.

No word on charges.
