Club Rex

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. -- Police are looking for the person who shot a man at a Gwinnett County night club.

Investigators said they were called out to Club Rex off of Jimmy Carter Boulevard at about 3 a.m. Saturday.

Officers said when they arrived they found a man shot in the chest in front of the club.

"Only information we have is it happened right here in the parking lot," Sgt. Brian Reddy with the Gwinnett County Police said.

Police said the victim wasn't alone at the time, but his friends weren't exactly any help.

"There were a couple of people with him, but they're intoxicated and we're not getting any information from them right now," Reddy said.

Detectives spent the moing searching cars in this parking lot as well as trying to interview possible witnesses, but so far, investigators said they don't have any leads on the gunman.
