A teacher from Gainesville, Georgia resigned earlier this week after getting arrested on drug charges, authorities said.

According to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office, 27-year-old Alisen Nicole Mooney of north Forsyth was arrested for having oxycodone and amphetamine. Police also say she intended to sell the drugs.

Prior to the arrest, Alisen Nicole Mooney worked at North Forsyth Middle School in Hall County. She was a chorus teacher who was popular with students and colleagues.

Police caught her in a parking lot with a man named Robert Tyler McClain Woodard, who is believed to be her boyfriend. The report states that they were both doing drugs at the time of the arrest.
