North Forsyth High student Kyle Robins killed in accident
A student at North Forsyth High School was killed and several other people were injured in a car accident on Monday, according to police.
The accident occurred on Hendrix Road in Cumming around 4 p.m. According to Forsyth County Fire Division Chief Jason Shivers, a passenger car and a pickup truck collided. Two male juniors from North Forsyth High were in the car. One of them died and another was transported to North Fulton Medical Center in critical condition.
The driver of the truck was a senior at North Forsyth. An adult female and two juvenile passengers in the truck were transported to Children's Hospital of Atlanta at Scottish Rite with non-life-threatening injuries, Shivers said. The driver of the truck was taken to a local medical facility with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Shivers.
The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office is investigating the accident.
