COLUMBUS, Ga. -- A 13-year-old Columbus girl who had been missing and was the subject of a child abduction alert has been found unharmed in Alabama.

Fabiola Morales had been missing from her home since Thursday and was found early Sunday in Jasper, Ala.

Columbus police Lt. Ronald Hastings says a 17-year-old they believe took her has been arrested and will be retued to Georgia to face a kidnapping accusation.

Fabiola's mother, Edna Morales, said her daughter was fine when contacted by cell phone Sunday night.
