Miley Cyrus has given her fans an early Christmas present by posing in lacy red lingerie for a candid Christmasy selfie.

Cuddling up to one of her pet pooches in the Twitter snap, the pop starlet stared seductively at the camera in the festive shot.

Sharing the snap on her Twitter page, she wrote: ‘The best part of my day, cuddling up to my baby.’

Covering her modesty with a red bra is a surprise move, given that she’s bared all in see-through latex and that infamous Wrecking Ball video.

Nevertheless, the saucy picture certainly seems a fitting way to round off 2013 for the 21-year-old singer, who has flashed more flesh than Rihanna this year alone.

And 2014 looks set to follow suit after she released a teaser for her new video, Adore You, which sees her rolling around in her underwear under some white sheets.

The video will be released in full on Dec 26th.
