Medical examiner IDs body found under home as Ayesha Turner, 28

The Fulton County Medical Examiner has identified the body of a woman found cut up in pieces beneath an Atlanta home.

The body was identified as Ayesha Tuer, 28. Her remains were found under a home on Cascade Road last week. She was reported missing Oct. 5

The medical examiner ruled that her cause of death was blunt force head injury, and her manner of death was homicide.

Channel 2's Ryan Young spoke to the victim's mother, who said she is praying that police will find the person responsible for killing her only daughter.

"I hope they really find him and hang him (to) the highest tree. He didn't have to do my baby like that," Faye Tuer said.

Police said the killer tried dismembering Tuer's body to a point where it could not be identified. But Faye Tuer said a tattoo on her daughter helped her identify the victim, who leaves behind two kids of her own, ages 5 and 12.

Homicide detectives said they have solid leads in the case.
