Matthew Fox’s Shocking New Look
The handsome Matthew Fox over the years

Tus out, celebrities like Matthew Fox — gasp! — age just like the rest of us.

I know, I know. It's shocking, but we can't ignore it any longer. The "Lost" alum began exhibiting signs of his age, 46, on Monday in L.A.

The former "Party of Five" stud's lined face stood out in a town that rarely notes the appearance of male mugs. That kind of criticism is almost exclusively reserved for the women of Hollywood — and Kenny Rogers.

Fox's transformation was almost certainly expedited by the drastic weight loss he pulled off for his role as a super-ripped, super-skinny cagefighter in last year's "Alex Cross." Maybe the lines will go away once he's packed on a few pounds?

Whether or not Mr. Fox eventually fills out his face, his career isn't suffering so far. His next project is a role in Brad Pitt's high-profile movie "World War Z," out June 21.
