Massage therapist Marco Hernandez accused of molesting 11-year-old boy

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - Police say a massage therapist accused of molesting a young boy has been arrested.

Marco Heandez, 48, was arrested for aggravated sodomy, aggravated child molestation and giving a false name to police. 

Police arrested Heandez after an 11-year-old boy came forward and said Heandez touched him inappropriately during a massage.

The boys mother said she took her son to get a message from Heandez after straining a muscle due to sports.

”She had seen an advertisement, a business card advertising for massages in the neighborhood and she went ahead and called the person, police said.

The massage did alleviate the strain and a couple of weeks later the mother scheduled another massage with Heandez. This time around, Heandez is accused of touching the 11-year-old's private area twice during the massage. 

The boy did not immediately inform his mother about the incident, but when the mom was in the process of scheduling another session, her son told her what happened.

She immediately called the police. 

According to Lilbu police, when Heandez was questioned, he said that he did not give the boy a massage at all. That statement was proven to be false, according to authorities.

”He denied several things initially such as actually even doing massages at his residence, or even having people there at any point. He later admitted yes they were there. police said.

Heandez was arrested on July 8.
