MARTA Officer Injured in Accident
A MARTA police officer was taken to the hospital after police say the officer's cruiser was hit from behind.
It happened on Interstate 85 southbound near the Armour Drive exit.
Investigators say the driver of a white Honda was about to go speeding by the officer when the driver tried to slow down.
She lost control and rear-ended the cruiser.
The Honda's driver is facing possible DUI charges.
