MARIETTA, GA - A woman has been arrested after she allegedly left her 3 year-old child in a vehicle to attend a job interview.

The incident happened Monday at the Avenue East Cobb on Roswell Road in Marietta.

The woman, identified as Danielle Young, told police she went to a job interview and left the child in the vehicle for around 30 minutes. The child was hot and covered in sweat when officers arrived on the scene but was responsive.

Young was arrested and charged with reckless conduct.

The child was tued over to the Division of Family and Children Services.
