MARIETTA, Ga. -- Cobb County police are looking for a teenager who robbed a Chuck E. Cheese restaurant and forced a woman and her child in a freezer.

Officers say the thief approached an employee and her 3-year-old daughter outside the restaurant on Roswell Road in Marietta just after closing on Sunday night.

The robber pointed a weapon at the pair, forced them to get out of their car and unlock the restaurant, according to police.

The employee told police she was forced to open the safe and then was told by the robber to get into a walk-in refrigerator with her daughter. The woman called 911 shortly after the robber fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said. Neither was hurt.

The victims described the robber as a tall, skinny, black male who is approximately 18 years old. The robber wore all black clothing and wrapped a purple shirt around his head, according to police.

Police say the robber could be charged with armed robbery, cruelty to children and kidnapping. Anyone with information was urged to call Cobb County police at 770-499-3945.
