Police investigate fatal shooting near Fulton Industrial Boulevard.

Fulton County police say a man drove off the road on an Interstate 20 ramp after suffering a gunshot wound late Thursday night.

The victim was found slumped over in a car on the Fulton Industrial Boulevard entrance ramp to I-20.  Rescue workers rushed him to Grady.  But he died on the way to the hospital.

Detectives think the shooting took place a short distance from where the victim was found, in the parking lot of the Fairview Hotel.  Investigators combed the lot, which is located in the 43- hundred block of Fulton Industrial, for clues. They also talked
to witnesses.  Police don't have a motive or suspect description.  The name of the victim hasn't been released.
