Man Robbed of iPhone at Fayetteville Home Depot
Police in Fayetteville are issuing a strong waing about cell phones after a man was mugged for his iPhone inside a Home Depot.
Rod Wright said he was pushing a baby stroller through the store when a man bumped into him and took his iPhone, which was attached to his waist.
Surveillance footage captured the alleged thief running out of the store. Another camera caught him running out of the parking lot.
Mike Whitlow of the Fayetteville Police Department waed people not to leave anything of value out in the open.
”If it’s a cell phone, put it in your pocket and untuck your shirt and put your shirt over it. If it’s a female, put it inside your purse, just don’t’ have it out where somebody can see it, said Whitlow.
Wright had pictures of his daughter’s birth that he’d like to get back if he can’t get the phone retued.
Police hope someone can recognize the man from the footage. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Fayetteville Police Department.
