Lynn Turner Found Dead in Jail Cell
A woman convicted of poisoning both her husband and a boyfriend with antifreeze was found dead Monday in her prison cell. The Georgia Department of Corrections says Lynn Tuer, 42, was pronounced dead at 7:35 a.m. at the Metro State Prison where she was serving a life sentence.
Tuer was convicted in 2005 of killing her husband, Glenn Tuer, by poisoning him with antifreeze in 1995. Then in 2007, Tuer was convicted of killing her boyfriend, Randy Thompson, in the same way. That second murder came six years after the first.

Tuer's husband was a Cobb County police officer, and Thompson was a Forsyth County firefighter. Lynn Tuer was a former 911 operator.
Prosecutors say in both cases, Tuer's main motive was money.
Tuer's appeals of both convictions failed.
There's no word yet on how Lynn Tuer died. An autopsy is planned for Monday.
