Lauryn Hill begins jail sentence for tax evasion

LAURYN Hill has started serving a three-month prison sentence in Connecticut for failing to pay about $1 million in taxes over the past decade.

Hill pleaded guilty last year to tax evasion charges in $1.8million she raked in between 2005 and 2007.

She’s being held at the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury where Martha Stewart did not-so hard time.

The prison is said to be a minimum security type facility where inmates live in “barracks type” housing. By all accounts, Hill will be hanging out with the general population. Let’s hope she brought her guitar.
