Kris and Bruce Jenner file for divorce after announcing separation almost a year ago

ELEVEN months after announcing their separation, Kris and Bruce Jenner have officially filed for divorce.

RadarOnline reports they have seen a copy of the documents, which cite irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.

The pair are seeking joint custody of their daughter Kylie, 17. Their eldest daughter Kendall is 18.

Kris and Bruce had been married for 22 years when they announced their split in October last year.

“We are living separately and we are much happier this way,” the pair told E! News.

“But we will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority.”

Prior to that, the pair had been forced to deny rumours of a split for months and had been living separately - Bruce at the Kardashian beach house while his wife resides with the family at the Kardashian family home in Calabasas, Califoia.

The documents cite June 1, 2013 as the date of their separation and they intend to divide everything between them (except Kris’ jewellery and all assets from the date of the split).

The pair were married in 1991, just one month after Kris had divorced Robert Kardashian Sr, the father of Kim, Khloe, Kourtney and Rob.

The family will soon start filming the next season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, but RadarOnline reports Bruce’s role in the show will be drastically reduced.
