Kennesaw State University has issued an alert after a female student was sexually assaulted Friday moing.

According to the alert, the woman was attacked near her car at KSU Place, an on-campus housing facility, around 6 a.m.

Her attacker was described as a man with black dread locks wearing a ski mask, a dark-colored sweater, jeans, colorful Nike tennis shoes and a dark-colored watch.

The man was driving a silver car, possibly an older model Honda Civic, according to the alert emailed to students by the unersity

KSU is urging everyone on campus to be cautious and observant of their surroundings.
